KAL Staff member to carry the Torch!

Get set to welcome the flame

The countdown to the London Olympics and Paralympics has started. The Torch Relay will be making its way through Kirklees on 24th - 25th June so why don't you line the streets and welcome the flame.

Our very own Rob Morris is also one of the Torch bearers. Rob who works as a casual lifeguard at Huddersfield Sports Centre is overjoyed to be part of this historic event and will be taking the Torch along Castlegate, Huddersfield this Sunday.

There are plenty of other ways you can be involved in the celebrations too, become a sports volunteer, join the KAL Games, enjoy Parkfest 2012 or be inspired and get involved in a sport you have never tried.
